Real Racing 2 and Flight Control company, Firemint, bought by EA
EA, today, has announced through an emailed press release that it has completed the acquisition of Firemint. Firemint, of course, is the company known best for the Real Racing titles as well as the addictive and challenging Flight Control. EA has also purchased a company named Mobile Post Production (MPP), which specializes in developing cross-platform solutions to games. So, you never know, Android users could soon get the Real Racing titles on their devices, despite it being exclusive to iOS up until now.

EA has an established track record of investing in leading teams with proven expertise in these areas, including its recent acquisitions of Chillingo (Oct. 2010) and Playfish (Nov. 2009).”
