You would have to travel pretty far from even the smallest town to find a person who doesn’t know who Bigfoot is. Half ape and half human, it always tends to find itself the center of speculation. Every once in a while, a video shows up with some “shocking new footage” and then is quickly shot down by critics. Well, this week another one hit the interwebs showing an alleged Bigfoot ambling across the upper portion of the video.

The shaky video was shot by a hiker in Washington’s Downriver Park on her iPhone. She claims to have been only filming her friend who was slapping giant mosquitos from his face and that she didn’t see the Sasquatch until she looked at it on her computer.

Now I’m not saying this is totally fake (I have seen worse), but there are some things that make it seem less-real. First, if Bigfoot is so elusive, why is it just walking by three humans? Secondly, the swatting at giant mosquitos also looks a bit like a signal to enter the scene. Lastly, if the creature was that close, I’m sure they would have heard it because they were not even talking. But maybe that’s just me.

I’m going to let you check it out for yourself and join the already 400,000 + people who are wondering, doubting, and disproving.

Well, I don’t know about you, but I think we should chalk this one up as a win for the iPhone. I bet this was Steve Jobs’ plan all along, because whenever I try to take a picture of Bigfoot, mine always comes out blurry. What do you think, real or really fake?
