Augmented Reality on iPad 2 – coming soon

AR, or augmented reality has become pretty popular on the iPhone since its launch in 2007. It’s basically a technology which uses the camera on your device to add in its own interpretation of your world. This can be changing your living room in to a football stadium, or having aliens flying around your street.

As of yet its not quite there on the iPad 2, but it soon will be, thanks to German developers, Metaio. The company has released this video showing the features of its Junaio reference app.
