White iPhone 4 placards show up at Best Buy – launch nearing

Best Buy stores are readying their shelves for the imminent arrival of what has been affectionately dubbed the ‘white unicorn’, otherwise known as the white iPhone 4. The placard above was spotted this weekend at a Best Buy store in Houston. The phone’s price is the same as the black version at $599 off-contract. I’m hoping this means that the handset will be launched soon, at least, sooner than we expected. The Source, a Canadian store, has also readied space on its shelves for the long awaited Apple handset.
