Apple restricts employee vacations this month – new product set to launch?
There are always tell-tale signs when Apple is about to release a new product. At the end of this month, anyone who works in the Apple stores and has no seniority will not be allowed to take a vacation. This ban on taking time off is set to last for three weeks, creeping in to the first half of February.
So, what could this mean? Clearly Cupertino is expecting a very busy period and since all the major holidays are behind us, it can only mean that some new device will be launched. But what will it be? Will a new iPad be launched and made available for sale earlier than expected? Or, will it be the Verizon iPhone? No one quite knows, but something has to be on its way.

It is a new Mac air. I know because I've spent three weeks painting 4000 giant plastic balloons for it's grand opening.
