Rumor: IPhone 5 Touchscreen Could Work With Gloved Fingers

At the moment the capacitive touchscreen on the iPhone will only work when pressed with a naked finger, (or meat based food stick). According to PatentlyApple though Steve Jobs’ company could well invest in a new touchscreen technology currently under development.

The new display will work even if your hand is covered in a textile, plastic, or possibly leather glove. Hitachi, the company developing the concept has leaked pictures of the displays working with a plastic stylus. Could this possibly be the perfect touch screen? You decide. But it could mean that you can still play Angry Birds even when it’s winter, and you’re waiting for the bus to arrive. Cool huh?
