iTunes music previews to increase to 90 seconds

“HUZZAH!” I hear you all shout. Or perhaps, that’s just me. Buying music from the iTunes store will soon, hopefully, be a more pleasant experience. I don’t know about you, but, for me the 30 seconds is no where near long enough to decide whether or not I like a song, and wish to download it. The fact is, the preview could play half a verse, maybe some of the chorus, but, it’s never enough to get a real “feel” of the tune.

If I think about actual music stores for while, which sadly are closing down by the second, they’d often give you a whole album to preview. Some even gave you access to preview all the songs in the store, via an interactive touch screen. So, it only makes sense that Steve Jobs & Co will give us a longer taste of the music we’ve chosen to take a look at – (or listen to). Happy listening!
