White iPhone 4 release delayed – again – until Spring 2011

This has got to be the worst news for those of you guys waiting for the white iPhone 4. When Apple initially stated the device would be delayed until “later this year”, most were excited at getting their hands on the phone in time for the holidays. Unfortunately, Cupertino has just dealt a sucker punch right in to the gut — the white iPhone isn’t coming until Spring.

On the issue, Apple spokesperson Trudy Muller simply stated, “We’re sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone again.” I think ‘disappoint’ is slightly too soft a word. I can’t believe this has happened again. Just think, if you’re one of the unlucky ones who’s still going to wait until it’s released, there will be a new one just a few months later. Steve Jobs & Co really didn’t plan this one out very well at all. It looks like the white iPhone popping up in the Apple Store app meant absolutely nothing.
