Yahoo! unveils HTML5 email and news for iOS 4 users

How about some non antenna–related iPhone news for a change? Yahoo has some nifty things in store for its iOS 4 email users and news fans.

The company used HTML5 to develop a new email web app, so people can read, compose rich text messages, reply, and search messages offline. You’ll also be able to preview images and vids right in your emails and access/manage your folders, just like you do on your desktop now. Yahoo also tweaked its News offering with a new layout, including animated visual effects, pics, slideshows, vids, and more — all viewable on iOS 4 devices.
