With the announcement and upcoming release of Apple’s latest iPhone, one of the questions in the back of people’s minds, I’m sure, is: Who will be carrying it?
.
Well, perhaps American subscribers aren’t wondering about that, since AT&T are the only US carrier that has been named to offer it so far (much to some US customers’ disappointment). Unfortunately, there’s been no word on a CDMA version for Verizon Wireless or other networks, but only time will tell.
.
There are no surprises in Germany or the Netherlands either, as the iPhone 4 will only be available via T-Mobile in both countries, and in Japan it will be released on the SoftBank network on the 24th of June.
.
However, Canada, France, and the UK has a nice selection of networks, through which users will be able to pre-order Apple’s latest smartphone very soon. In Canada, Rogers, TELUS and Bell will all offer iPhone 4 starting in July. In France, the only cellular provider that has been confirmed at the moment is Orange, but sometime in the near future, we’ll have word from SFR and Bouygues Telecom on whether they will also carry it or not. If you live in the UK you will have a nice selection of networks to choose from as it will be released on June 24th on O2, Orange, Vodafone and T-Mobile UK.
(Update: Three UK have also just announced they will be carrying the device as well, so that’s all 5 major networks in Britain, now you can literally pick which ever network you want. Via:

No word on international pricing just yet, aside from that the 16GB iPhone 4 will cost $199 USD through AT&T, with the 32GB marked up at $299 USD, both with a new 24 month contract.
.
Stay tuned for more pricing and availability information, hopefully coming soon.
