With Apple’s official iPad accessory product line on display, it was only a matter of time before the competition arrived to upstage it. So here, I’m taking a look at well-known accessories maker Macally.

This brand provides users with “high quality and valued product accessories.” Right now, the site has about eight different cases on display, one USB charger, and a pair of headphones. When I saw this little contraption, it was a sure winner. There is no way I won’t have this in my office at home. This BookStand will compliment the iBook store beautifully, as well as a great accessory for watching movies on. But I’ll leave the movie watching to this last product I have chosen.

I have saved what I believe to be the “best for last.” I fell in love with the ViewStand once I laid eyes on it. This thing is so cool. It stands vertical for some great movie watching. Next it can be folded back on itself to make surfing and searching both fun and enjoyable. Last but not least, the design feature I really admired grabbed my eye when I was looking at the ViewStand from behind — it allows the Apple logo to shine so bright! (I sound like a fanboy, sad I know.) The reason is that there’s an iPad-sized hole that hugs the tablet when positioned within. So popping the device into the stand means that, from the back, there’s nothing that blocks the aesthetic.
