Apple Job posting hints to iPad camera
Those of you who were hoping for some iChat goodness to come to the iPad may get your wish after all. Apple has a new job posting on its website for a Performance and Quality Assurance Engineer in the iPad media division. The help wanted reads:
“The Media Systems team is looking for a software quality engineer with a strong technical background to test still, video and audio capture and playback frameworks. Build on your QA experience and knowledge of digital camera technology (still and video) to develop and maintain testing frameworks for both capture and playback pipelines.”
When Apple launched the device last month, many were left scratching their heads wondering where the camera was. Well apparently Apple has already allotted space to fit a camera in the iPad and is preparing to have it added to next year’s generation of tablets. We all know that Apple is here to make money, so there always needs to be an incentive to upgrade from previous models.
So are you eager to get your hands on the iPad in the next month or does this news make you want to wait it out for next year’s model? Let us know in the comments.
